Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.5/100, a mean average of 70.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.9.

A collection of excellent pop-rock-country songs. A modern album, well produced, well played, well recorded. I don´t think Tim McGraw is a totally authentic artist, independent and with full control of your discs, but he has a good voice, sings in a very pleasant way and printed his name in some of the best albums of the last 10 years. This disc, in particular, reached the top of the Billboard and Country Albums charts. The composers of the title track and Tim also won the Grammy in 2005 for best country song and best male vocal performance. The best songs: "My Old Friend", "Blank Sheet Of Paper", "Live Like You Were Dying", "Just Be Your Tear" and my favorite "Open Season On My Heart". For those who don´t have dumb prejudice against country albuns, I recommend listening to this.
