Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.2/100, a mean average of 78.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.7.

I wasn't overly keen on this. It's alright but I prefer all studio albums over this

One of my favorite live metal releases along with Motorhead's No Sleep til' Hammersmith.

I'm not really a big fan of Heavy Metal or Metal in general. But Iron Maiden is a very, very good band: guitar riffs give off an unparalleled energy, guitar solos are awesome ... Iron Maiden is one of the most catchy and energetic bands I know. They created real heavy metal hits: "Hallowed be thy name", "The Trooper". The band is excellent in live so I advise you "Life After Death" to discover the band. The album includes all the greatest hits of Iron Maiden.

Obviously a very good live album, but the problem with Iron Maiden live records is that they hardly ever deviate from the studio versions, so all you get is the same old songs done exactly the same way, the only difference being there's some cheering on this one. Still, you can't complain with the quality of the tracks and it's nice to hear Bruce Dickinson singing the D'ianno songs. As always with Maiden, very enjoyable.

Epic and legendary live album but merely a peak inside what an Iron Maiden show can be. The performances on this album aren't tip top, neither are Bruce's vocals, but god damn it something about this album gives me chills.

very successful setlist but does this really feel like a live-album? imho it's more a best of with some additional fan screams.
