A glorious 'punch in the air' that is really enjoyable throughout. Sometimes dips in quality, but the classic anthems such as 'Live Forever' make up for it.
Like Rock Anthems play this album some top tunes here can't believe this aint in my top 10 probably down to a couple of bad tracks at the end the rest are pretty awesome Cigarettes,Live Forever,Columbia,Rock n Roll Star my faves here
Very good rock anthems throughout, but a few tracks below the standards.
I like it but a little confused by the amount of love shown for it.
One of the greatest debut albums of all time. Now I prefer Morning Glory, but you can argue both. Oasis are underrated here in America.
I'm not a fan of Oasis But I listened their songs many times because of their fame(I listened all MG songs and other many hits) some songs works on me but it didn't last long. I don't have particular bad feeling to this band. But I don't think I can like this band like I do to others. If there is a huge fan of Oasis, Can you explain why you like this and how to get into their songs? for me
@joshtraina (What's The Story) Morning Glory? is the best place to start (a lot of variety, widely known anthemic tracks, a little more accessible sound than their debut) although I think I prefer DM slightly more.
In reply to joshtraina, this album is the starting point for anyone new to Oasis. After that, move onto The Masterplan - B-sides collection. Their b-sides in the (what's the story) morning glory? and Be Here Now era were far better than the albums. Even some that didn't make it onto the masterplan collection are better than most of the tracks on Morning Glory.
Hi, I've never gotten into Oasis? Where do you suggest I start? I mean I've heard Wonderwall but that's like saying "Oh yeah I love Radiohead, Creep is my favorite track."
This album sparkles with freshness and spontaneity, from start to finish can be disfrutado without any pretense, pure rock & roll and lasting for future generations of enthusiastic young listeners... Live Forever!
