i love this album, but i can"t listen to it that much because it is so depressing. I prefer Deja Entendu even though The Devil and God is probably better. And those of you who think this is the best thing to come out of emo need to look into more stuff or at least give some other albums a chance, you"ll be surprised

The most viscerally emotional album ever. Relatively unknown for its greatness. Jesse Lacey's confessional songwriting and wit are at their peak. The growth seen here, even compared to the great leap forward they made on 'Deja Entendu' is simply amazing. Once of the greatest albums to ever be influenced by punk and certainly the best album to ever be associated with emo.

Highlights: Sowing Season, Millstone, Limousine, Jesus, Degausser, Not the Sun, The Archers Bows Have Broken

the first half is surprisingly good but the second half not that much. i think too many of songs use the dynamic change which gets predictive and a little boring. overall still a good album.

The title seems to forshadow something completely ridiculous and mopey, but this is actually a quite compelling listen, and one that really works great as an entire album. Only falters when it feels too much like a twenty-first century version of the Wall (particulary "Sowing Season"), but thankfully that's fairly rare

A complete game changer for brand new. A phenomenal album!
Jesus is great, but not the best track. I'll give that to either You won't know, Archers, or one of the first two tracks.
It's also just great to see a brand new album in the top 500.

When I first heard the album I was also under the opinion that Jesus was the best track, but after listening to the whole album I realized that other tracks such as Archers, Not The Sun, Sowing Season are in my opinion better, by far this is an album that can be heard all the way through and one of the best albums I have ever heard. Deja Entendu and this album are by faf the best Brand New Albums to me.

Jesus is the standout track, but other songs like You Won't Know, Not the Sun, and Limousine are also incredible.
