A moody collection of catchy and somber stand outs supported by less whimsy yet solid complementary accompaniment there to make every song better to tell ifs full story. This album is all mood creates a somber affair by drawling pleads like “is there any way / to get the weight off my skin” from Dust Bowl III, easily the album’s best song but its greatness is how it it play its part in the track list to reaffirm what came before it and set the tone for how this journey will end. A crossroads where every path leads no one but we must chose one.

Other Lives started as an instrumental group, making what I might call progressive classical music. Once they added vocals, it morphed into something else. Classical folk maybe? All I know is they have a bassoon on this album and that is 100% awesome.
It starts average but further tracks convince me more and more. Album need to listen to in its entirety. :)
