Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.4/100, a mean average of 79.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.8.

Another alter ego of DOOM is King Geedorah, a three headed space monster and DOOM's master, based on the Godzilla character King Ghidorah. Take Me to Your Leader follows King Geedorah's invasion of the earth, though he's only featured on three tracks on the album: The opener, "Fazers", "No Snakes Alive", and the closer, "The Fine Print", all brilliant tracks. Overall the album shows more DOOM the producer than DOOM the MC, and allot of time the mic is left over to features, which is something negative for some, but I think the feature-based tracks are excellent, and DOOM makes sure to give them some great beats. Oh, and MF DOOM is also here as a feature on two tracks ("The Final Hour" and the smooth Mr. Fantastik collab, "Anti-Matter"). Yes, this man uses himself as a feature on his own album. There's also the instrumental track "Monster Zero", which I love 'cause of how it manages to tell a story and make a cool atmosphere through movie samples and a nice beat. I'm not as big a fan of the two other instrumentals "Take Me to Your Leader" and "One Smart Nigger", which more tries to be funny (in a similar way to the instrumentals on Mm.. Food), and don't really have anything to do with the theme of the album. What makes me like this album so much is just how dreamy and cinematic it is. I mean, the idea of this album is pretty absurd, and it's unlike anything anything I've ever heard. The beats on this album are fantastic! They mostly seem to be sampled from sci-fi movies to fit the theme of the album. So all in all, if you can get past DOOM not being the MC on all the tracks, you're in for an interesting and often brilliant experience!
Some FANTASTIC beats on this album. Definitely one of his best works.
Effortlessly impressive.
Great album. If you like DOOM's other works than you shouldn't be disappointed.
'Take Me To Your Leader' has many instrumental tracks on it with TV and movie samples pieced together to tell stories of King Geedorah, a 3 headed monster from space. These are mostly taken from old Godzilla movies, and they provide the prefect backdrop for the album.
DOOM appears on several tracks, either as King Geedorah or as MF DOOM (listed as a feature).
This is an album that's best taken as a whole, but if I had to list my favorite stand-alone tracks they'd probably be 'Anti-Matter' and 'I Wonder'.
