This js the best album of aerosmith, good balance between hard and soft rock
Pretty solid album. Great comeback for them with this album. Permanent Vacation was a letdown.
Aerosmith is not a very good band. Cheesy songs, cheesy image. Some songs are passable, but that is nt enough. The best of Aerosmith is the daughter of the vocalist.
Aerosmith are a crap band .....couple of good songs, thats it. Nothing worse in music than an areosmith ballad.
Last respectable Aerosmith.
Great album but probably heard it one too many times. Find it hard to have the energy to put this in the cd player but when I do I enjoy it.
This is Aerosmith at their comeback peak. Better than Get a Grip, better than Permanent Vacation (drops back because of Magic Touch) and way better than Nine Lives or Just Push Play. They were having fun again, they were clean, there was no drama, and they were enjoying making their music, not selling out to make money (see Armageddon). Love it.
Aerosmith is basically following the template of popularity-revived "permanent vacation" again. This time the hits are "love in an elevator", "janie's got a gun" and "what it takes". But the template's growing old..
Aerosmith's finest moment (in a tight battle with Toys in the Attic and Permanent Vacation). The strength of this album is that there is not one single moment where it slacks. From the very start all the way through the brilliant What It Takes it keeps you hanging on. Those who despise late 80's pop-metal should stear clear of course, but for the rest of us, this is good stuff.
