Great album, a nice middle ground between his E Street style and folk album style. I'd say it probably started out as a solo plan but once the big man died it absorbed some E Street involvement, leads to a great result. Possibly his best album since the 80s, competition between it and The Rising for that title.

This album is the shit. This feels like a sequel to Nebraska in both style and subject. Although i do love the Nebraska, The River, and Wrecking Ball i love the the two Born albums and Darkness style more

To my mind, this is his best return to form since The Rising. Death to my Hometown is an impressive lyric from someone who has given us so much poetry. Shackled and Drawn, Easy Money and the title track are all irresistible. Then there is that showstopper, Rocky Ground. The master is still here.

A real album again from Bruce, a pity I don´t like it that much though. It has to do with the production I guess, because I am looking forward hearing these songs solo as folk songs, that´s what most of them are.

A strong return to the great songwriting we are used to after the rushed, disappointing Working On A Dream.
