SilverWalrus 01/29/2013 07:02The Replacements had a knack for doing whatever the fuck they wanted, and that attitude manifested into one of the best albums ever made. You've got alternative numbers, hardcore punk ones, ballads, everything The Replacements could and wanted to do. Paul Westerberg is a hero.

Love this album. It's trully punk and it's alternative too. This and Tim show The Replacements at their best.
I will dare, Androgynous and Unsatisfied are the tracks that stop this album being good, and make it great.
The second half of the album much better
Awesome album. Rocks the hell out.
THE coming of age record. Needs to be a religiously worshiped by all 17 year olds.
TheAstralPlane 02/16/2012 02:42A true classic. This album has so much emotion and angst, but is also incredible catchy and listenable. Some of these songs are some of the best ever, I Will Dare, Androgynous, Sixteen Blue, Unsatisfied, We're Coming out. Wait every song is amazing. If you don't listen to this album you're missing out big time on one of the greatest albums, not just of the 80's, but of all time.
The Replacements simply missed their market. Today they are appreciated. Let It Be, Tim, Don't Tell a Soul, All Shook Down (practically a solo album), Pleased to Meet Me, Hootenany. Where do you begin? Collect them all. One of my favorite albums. A must listen by the Replacements. If you are very objective and ignore this is a band disintegrating, some of these songs are of their best.
I could listen to Anadrogynous over and over!
