The Best album of PJ

Not her strongest songwriting effort, though the performances, as always, pack a punch. The primal power of “Long Snake Moan” always inspires me; it could probably inspire the dead.

This is an intense and weird album, and probably her best. Really cool stuff.

Almost perfect. It's okay...she did perfect later. This is a much misunderstood album that should be heard by non believers at least one more time.

A recent discovery of mine. It is growing on me. Haunting and scary. Little fish, big fish give her back her daughter. This is sure some mean blues.

Okay, I gave this a second listen, and I like it a lot more now. But there's still one major caveat to this album, aside from several undeniably weak tracks and the horrendous lyrics.. When I want to listen to a female artist, I want that artist to be very ladylike. Unfortunately, if I didn't have the album cover to this, I would think this was sung by a creepy 40-year-old man. And that's not cool.

EURRRRGGGHHHH! FUCK! Another Tori Aimless fan :[ Listen Applerill, get some taste! That's all I can say. Tori Amos is the saddest Kate Bush/ Elton John (haha) impersonator out there. Every thing she has ever done has been wretched. Little Earthquakes (though superior to the rest of her discography) is nothing but a boring, piss weak adult contemporary record. How she ever got a record deal is beyond me! More suprising is how people can even mention her name in the same sentence as PJH's. Anyway, TBYML is hands down the finest album of the 90's. Up there with anything Nick Cave or Tom Waits has done and it far excedes that pathetic excuse of a record "Horses"(WTF is the appeal?). She really proved herself to be one of the last significant rockers with this. It's a beautiful display of emotion, sincerity, strength and diversity.

this is a good album; by far better than anything Brokencyde or Tori Amos has done, though Radiohead is better.

Was this the album she's saying "Here little fish fish" because that's the only part I remember.
