Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.5/100, a mean average of 71.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 10.0.

Four good tracks (1, 2, 5 and 6) the rest are innocuous or plain boring.
I really enjoyed this album, played for three months none stop.I think it is very under-rated.-Smith
A missed opportunity. This feels more like a Robert Plant album that happens to have Jimmy Page on it, and as much as I admire his guitar chops his contributions here don't seem to add up to much. It's also cursed with the CD-era blight of being too long, with songs that could either have been cut down or cut out entirely. It's not terrible though.
This should have been awesome. This should have been something monumental. But sadly it wasn't. I guess this demonstrated how important John Paul Jones really was to the formula. The songs have promise but really don't seem to go anywhere. I find myself wanting to hit the skip button too often.
