I like it more than Paranoid, it's creepier and darker. Album of age 10.

What else needs to be said? This album is what made the genre of Heavy Metal the wonderful genre that it is today.

From hard rock to heavy metal. With this album they start the new music genre.

Is not Paranoid, but it's like the beginning of Heavy Metal itself. NIB is the highlight, but Black Sabbath is also quite good. Every real metal fan should give it a listen.

Play this album at night (preferably with a thunderstorm outside), turn all the lights out, light only candles, turn it up loud and this will be on your top 100 (or 10). The song suite leading up to and including N.I.B. will blow your head off!! I play this every Halloween at parties & it's a smash! Heavy metal starts here folks.

Great preview of what more was to come from arguably the most influential metal band of all time.

Let's face it, this is the scariest album ever made and the prototype of so much to come. Many bands have pushed the recipe herein given unto us but other than upping the dose, did they really bring anything new to the recipe? The blueprint is here, and it is lacking of nothing.

Edit: YES, IT'S IN THE TOP 500 NOW! SQUEE!

This album is absolutely sludgariffic, with an emphasis on "riff". It's a total shame that this isn't on the top 500. Better than Paranoid IMO.
