Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 16% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.3/100, a mean average of 75.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.4.

I for one, liked the 2 at the end.
Really, it's one big song, just like the last one, except with labelled movements.
If you took away the poetry, the cheesiness, and the final word (why, after such a great reprise of the original album, would you add the number 2 on the end of Think As A Brick? And in such a weird tone of voice... if only it was cut 3 seconds, I would have been fully satisfied, but no...) then this is a fantastic album. A Change Of Horses is a masterpiece: really, if you give that a listen, then you've heard the best this album has to offer. Besides that, there are some good moments that rock hard, but a bit too much flute (I guess you have to expect an Ian Anderson solo album to have a bit too much flute).
Seriously, overall, it needs a proper listen. This is an album you need to concentrate on. It's worth it: everything up to A Change Of Horses is a nice build-up and the pacing is great. There's always something interesting coming up, and you'd swear it was longer than 50 minutes. Works best as a full album, nothing really is that great as a stand-alone song; it makes sense considering its predecessor.
A pleasant surprise.
