an_outlawIsn't It a Pity is beautiful! This what I want to hear in my songs!
It took a while for me to get into it, but once you fall in love with this record, there's no turning back.
Isn't It A Pity is a damn good song...
This album is a strange experience, the guitars generally sound fantastic, but the vocals can REALLY throw you off if you're not ready for FLAT high notes. Somehow it doesn't steal from the experience for me, however.

Rockier than other G500 albums I have to admit On Fire is my least favourite however I love it nonetheless.
I just love this album,
Decomposing Trees is one of my favourite songs ever!
I'm looking forward to listen more to this album. It didn't truly grab me on first listen, but I do hear an interesting sound and atmosphere in there.
lancashirearab 06/23/2012 07:05Such an amazing album. The sound just washes over you. I bought this when I was very skint. It was a major investment to buy vinyl at the time and I was rewarded with a gem.
Simplicity is often frowned upon in rock discourse. As such it's easy for this album to be overlooked as the masterpiece it is. The vocal melodies soar gorgeously over the sparse and serene backing, and the guitar solos are (again, simple but) brilliant.
