Great album but it's not as good as The Smiths.

I love The Smiths, but I don't like all the live versions of songs they have here, with the exception of Back To The Old House. The studio recorded songs are fantastic though.
I don't normality like to include compilations on my best-of lists. Still it's hard to find fault with this miraculous collections of songs. The album is required listening for Smiths fans because the versions here are different than the album versions. Also you get the bonus tracks Handsome Devil and Accept Yourself, which is very likely Morrissey talking to himself.
The album that changed my life and turned me onto music...
an_outlawPlease, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want and This Charming Man were great! Very good collection of songs overall.
