washer is my favorite track. it's brilliant. the rest doesn't do much for me.
The vocals are mediocre at best to me, but apart from that this is a great work-dark, intense, emotional and innovative. Strangely, my favorite track here, Washer, totally steals its main riff from Gang Of Four's Damaged Goods-yet somehow, miraculously, it works wonders. Maybe it's because it is a synopsis of the album's tone, and the whispering vocals sound chillingly moving, in a totally unexpected way. Whatever, it's brilliant, and definitely a deserved track-pick in this site.
Best album ever?

Best track: Good Morning, Captain.
This album its just amazing! The rigid structures and the cold and deep sound are the main features of the post-rock genre and Slint definitely contributed to develop them.
So dark... I love it
You can listen to but not too interesting
