This reminds me of a poppier, wussier Discovery. (If you didn't think that was possible, now you know.) (Discovery was synth-indie-pop band created from members of Vampire Weekend & Ra Ra Riot.) These guys were formerly known as the morning benders, and i think i prefer this new configuration. Just don't go into this album with expectations based on the album cover -- most of the listed genres aren't present here, although some songs surprise me in who they remind me of like how "R.Y.B." (short for "rock your body") reminds me of bobby brown.
