meccalecca 03/13/2013 15:52There's a feeling of tension and panic on The Stooges debut that can't be found on any rock music recorded before it.

lancashirearab 05/07/2012 07:45This would have been higher but for We Will Fall. Sometimes I love it, but other times I just skip onto the incredible No Fun.
Iggy and The Stooges were the first to push rock and roll to the extremes and they are in a sense the ultimate anthesis of urbane respectability. They are, in other words, the epitome of rock and roll in all of its grim degrading depravity and erotic delusions.
HaydenIn my opinion, best Stooges album. First 5 songs are great, last 3 a slightly weaker, but it still has the rawness of their other albums, just a bit more refined. 85/100
BorkA good album although the two first tracks stand out so far that the rest of the album does appear a bit pale.
