Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 8% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.4/100, a mean average of 75.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 10.8.

Strong Lizzy as usual. Solid stuff
So far in my first listen to Thin Lizzy's discography, this is short of Jailbreak, but not by much. Loved this record, I still don't get how they weren't one of the biggest rock bands in the world. "For Those Who Love to Live," "Suicide," "Wild One," "Spirit Slips Away" and the amazing "Freedom Song" were the highlight. Not a single bad track tho.
I chose this to be the first Thin Lizzy album I listen to in hopes of getting into their catalog after only hearing Jailbreak a couple years ago. I enjoyed most of Fighting quite a bit including Wild One and King's Vengeance which show Phil's prowess as a writer and the band's ahead of the curve nature when it came to building a landscape around guitar textures and harmonies.
A great album with an amazing sound. Songwriting isn't perfect, but it's one of my favorites of theirs.
Really loved this,Thin Lizzy continue to be one of the 'ost underrated bands on this site...
With this album they finally found their signature sound and laid the groundwork for the massive Jailbreak.
