There's something actually different and unique about this band. You'd think they are Pearl Jam clones...but really, where are the guitar solos? This band, and this album, is actually instrumentally built around the vocalist. The singer is the only real lead instrument. What solos there are are short and there aren't a lot of them. The good songs on this album are really, really good...but there is quite a bit of filler as well.

These guys aren't critics favorites. They might not be the most original band ever but it's hard to knock such a great collection of songs! The rock just doesn't stop. This is almost as strong as Purple.

The favourite whipping boy... A hanger-on, a copycat, a drug-addicted wanna be Pearl Jam. That may be true. I don't hear it, and even if I did, I don't care. Great tracks. Thunderous, rolling, and driven. "Crackerman" is dangerous to listen to while driving - you find yourself hitting the gas. Too bad Scott Weiland wrecked the band with his heroin addiction.

While outlaw makes a good point, there are a few very very good rock songs here. Pretty solid overall.
