Very great album despite the fact that sometimes its length turns me off. Tracks like Da Funk, Phoenix, Teachers, and Around The World are fantastic songs.

an_outlawHomework... so I guess the group had been doing their 'Homework' so to speak! Studying hard to become masters of the aural senses I presume. Good for them. Well... onto the music. To save time I'll direct you to 'Da Funk' and 'Around the World'. Both are basically a beat with a little something extra thrown on top. Slow and dozy beats. Get a laid back mood going. The rest... well it is pretty much the same all the way through. You're in for one of the longest 73-74 minutes of your life if try put this one on from beginning to end. It is also dreadfully plain. Just... plain It is hard to describe it all but I really don't want to make someone listen. You know what, go and buy any dance compilation from the shelf next time you go to the store. The chances are it will be like this but with one difference... it will be good and exciting. If you liked them already, this album might have some appeal. But 'Dance Dance Super Mix 7' doesn't have the brand name (Daft Punk) to get the clout required to get on so many charts. In fact, it appears it is so liked because some (although not everyone) believe that a liking of a dance collection would seriously injury their credentials. Seriously, it is like the "indie" kids have gone to the club and beaten the life from what ever had been playing! I'm done complaining. Just be very wary of spending your time on this one.
Has a few cool tracks.
These guys really are a step above the rest...

Can't forget: Alive, Teachers, Around the World, and that weird one at the beginning. An excellent collection of superfunky songs by two DJs discovering their strengths.
