Doesn't really offer us a pseudonym type of band expected from the cover, but what it offers up is a creative presentation of songs. "Lucy in the Sky of Diamonds" and "Being for the Benefit of Mister Kite" are psychedelic treats, "Within You, Without You" is one of George's best tracks and "A Day in the Life" is an epic climax.

I think all the rankings of 'best album of all time' this album has got speak for itself.

What can I say most people have this one don't they ? picking my best Beatles album was difficult I chose this one It was probably the first album I played all the way through and being only 8 to grab my attention for so long have fond memories of the album Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds, Getting Better,Within You Without You,A Day In the Life

Amazingly clever concept accompanied by brilliant music. What could go wrong?

Unfortunate victim of backlash and revisionism, lost its place to Revolver, something I'll probably never understand. Essentially a perfect record, the Beatles best set of songs, flows better than any of their records. Explores identity, escapism, violence of reality/fantasy. Soundscapes far more interesting than Revolver. Really the only Beatles record that sounds like a whole, fully realized work of art.

Overrated in my opinion but still great and revolutionary.

I've listened to the first 8 Beatles albums and this is my favourite

The Beatles most important and most influential record. I rank it higher than their other albums largely because it feels the most complete and A Day In The Life is their finest moment.
