Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.0/100, a mean average of 79.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.5.

I've only listened to this once, but I can already tell it's one of the best albums of the decade.
This album's first quarter is astounding. Quite the listen throughout, and I kept having to remind myself this was 1970. They were expressing dynamism like other bands at the time, but not many other groups were so on top of their production and sonic layering.
A slice of krautrock which turns out to be utterly pioneering and irresistible. Up there with the greatest krautrock albums, or albums of any genre.
Very underrated. This is more appreciatively idiosyncratic than Can's works imo. Also the instrumentation was really progressive and still is by today's standards, hence, not sounding dated at all.
The best darn Krautrock I ever heard. I imagine this album is the musical equivalent of what it would feel like to be in the Pagemaster movie scene where all the paint falls from the roof and makes everything cartoon. Yeaaaahhhh.
really great album, one of the few great psychedelic albums
HEAVY PSYCHEDELIC KRAUTROCK !!!
