Listened to this album for the first time about a week ago, and it has quickly become one of my favourites. Accessible, unique and shamelessly nostalgic.
A tiny bit overproduced, but an amazing album!
swedenmanThis album has some really gorgeous melodies and some genuine moments of sheer genius. That being said, it gets tiresome fairly quickly and doesn't have much replay value. Still a fun listen, though.

SingingPeasant96 03/15/2013 05:37Tiger Mountain Peasant Song, great chill. I didn't choose my nickname because of it(it was derived from After the gold rush by neil young). But yeah, it's my favourite song of this album. and your protector is nice too.
For a long time I was waiting for a rock band that wasn't trying to be like anyone else. When Fleet Foxes found their sound, they knew exactly what they wanted out of their album. And from me exactly what I would've wanted out of mine.
Probably the best blend of Indie-folk I have ever seen from a band. Brilliant.

twoheadedboy 10/11/2012 00:30I love the images that this album puts into my head when I listen to it. White winter hymnal especially, it is just so innocent and airy. It makes me feel like I can float through life with the carelessness of a child.
I'm in love with this album. If I had just one word to describe it, it would be 'beautiful'.
