junodog4If you forget this is the Clash, it actually sounds better.
Maybe the power got to their heads and they thought they were the Velvet Underground instead. So they stoped writing catchy songs and aimed for the bookshelf. Although it is actually a good album on repeated listens.
Solid record, Rock the casbah!
Straight to Hell is a flipping masterpiece. Should I Stay or Should I Go is quite overrated. Casbah is a classic. Car Jamming is fantastic as well. Inoculated City is a weird one but I like it a lot. Most of the rest of this is subpar Clash.
I agree, trully uneven for hardcore fans only... but Casbah and Should I stay or should I go rock...
