Experimental hip hop had existed before this album, but it had yet to sound this cohesive.
This is some of the most creative hip-hop I've ever heard. Really awesome instrumentals creating a wall of sound type backing along with often abrasive drums and really cool bars and sampling makes for an unnerving experience and I can't help but love it. The last two tracks are amazing and really make the album. One of my favourites
Great record throughout, except for Black Smoke Rises, which takes too many liberties with noise and kind of loses purpose and takes away from the rest of the record.
