swedenmanA stunning album. Innovative and just full of beautiful/haunting melodies.
Easily the most consistent entry in Animal Collective's wonderfully weird collection of albums. Some may find a few of these songs a little to long, especially compared with Strawberry Jam, but overall this is probably their strongest album. It should also be noted that My Girls is not only the all time greatest Animal Collective song, but one of the finest songs of all time. It's mind blowing how great that song is!!!!!
A joyous ode the pleasures of everyday family life. Animal Collective's sublime masterpiece that bears Panda's influence more than any of their other releases.
Highlights: My Girls, Bluish, Daily Routine, No More Runnin, Brother Sport, Also Frightened

Such a fantastic album. The last masterpiece.
One of my favorite albums ever. Took a little while to grow on me, but once it did, I couldn't get enough.
joshtraina 03/04/2013 04:38My mother is a large Depeche Mode, Joy Division, etc fan and I made her a burned CD of more modern music she may like. The first song was My Girls by Animal Collective and the five minutes that that song played I think was the most in sync musical connection my mother and I have other have. It was great.
tbakemanThis is the most first-time-listen-friendly of AC, and the first album is heard. This album made me fall in love, but then once I discovered what they were really about, I lost interest in this album. Still got some killer AC tunes though.
REALLY not my kind of music.
