There's Nothing Wrong With Love (studio album) by Built To Spill

This feels like a weaker version of their better albums, and I think it gets overrated because of the nostalgia people feel towards it. The music isn't as punchy or catchy on here and at times it can seem very slow and boring to me. The instrumentation is decent but nothing special that hasn't been done before. It is also feels very devoid of life at times in terms of performances such as on songs like Some where they go for this repetitive and uninventive tactic of lulling you into boredom and then just making loads of noise, so it seems better. This leads to a few songs on here being worse than filler and you don't usually get tracks like that on Built To Spill records. Despite this, there is a great run of tracks right at the start of the record which really saves it from being just an average listen. These few tracks are instant classic for the group and are so enjoyable. Overall, not their best album but it isn't bad either, I don't think I will be rushing back to listen to it again though.

One of the most important albums in my years spent adrift immediately after college graduation.

In many ways I'm reminded of the Flaming Lips' Transmissions From The Satellite Heart. If you like this album, I think you'd like that one too.

Just awesome... every song is great, and it never gets boring. 9.4/10.

Best Tracks: Distopian Dream Girl, Car, Big Dipper

This album is often overlooked, even in indie circles. I usually just see BTS mentioned in the context of Modest Mouse and not as their own band.

Infravalorado, realmente contiene los mejores temas de esta banda. Discazo, que creo que ya me esta empezando a gustar muchismimo mas que Unknown Pleasures (Disco que era mi favorito)
Sencillo pero con mucho brillo, como diria yo mismo :)

This is the best BTS album! Better lyrics and melodies than Perfect From Now On, Keep It Like A Secret, You In Reverse, There Is No Enemy, ...

I also like the emotion deepness of this album that reminds me the early Modest Mouse.

Favorite tracks: Reasons, Twin Falls, Stab (100/100 songs)

So far this is probably my favorite Built to Spill record. They flawlessly blend so many genres: pop, math rock, punk, even a little bit of slowcore. Reasons is like a 4 minute breakdown. God I love this.
