Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Although not as powerful or commercially successful as their next album, the Supremes showed up to introduce their talents to the world. Perhaps, they needed more fine tuning at this point, but that would be rectified with their second album. A decent album.
