Trifecta, Catherine wheel. He I guess he was trying to type Slowdive?
There so many more than just 3 great shoegaze bands though.
Absolutely brilliant. The trifecta never disappoints: My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Catherine Wheel.
By the way, for anyone who loves shoegaze, check out Whirr's 2012 release entitled Pipe Dreams. Awesome modern twist on the genre while still respecting the essential characteristics that define it.
Brilliant, warm, catchy, and resonant. Next to Loveless, this is the definitive shoegaze album.
This album takes a few listens but it is well worth persevering as it is another work of genius. So many amazing tracks.
This is a trip.
As desolate and as beautiful as the cover, Nowhere is a maelstrom of noise and a truly great English Psychedelic record. Failure has never sounded so beautiful.
Sounds like a combination of My Bloody Valentine and The Stone Roses and that's not a bad thing!
I agree with these comments...what cellardoor said, every song has something special.
