Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 8% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.4/100, a mean average of 74.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.1.

Would have scored it higher if it wasn't for the messy overlong closer "Rude Awakenings #2"

This album was a slight disappointment. It has less lead guitar and more organ than their previous albums. Still, It's good.

Ratings dont give this album justice. Ok, it's not their best. But I can either enjoy or respect the effort on every track. Well... maybe it's just preference. Side note: The keyboard solo on Born to Move is great. Always love to hear some horns on some bluesy tracks.

Pendulum is a strong album. Pretty much every CCR record is (let's not talk about Mardi Gras...). But even Pendulum suggests a tough sonic turn nearer to the end for this groundbreaking group.

Highlights include Pagan Baby and Have You Ever Seen the Rain. Overall, it's a decent record, but falls a bit short of their previous achievements.

For me this is 9 times better than Alabama Shake(s) if you know what I mean. It's his soul album. And it's between this and Willy and the Poor Boys when their best album must be chosen. It's an impossible task.

creo que este álbum está un tanto infravalorado ya que contiene muy buenas canciones y no hay ningun tema malo a mi parecer. Considero que mucha gente lo menosprecia ya que cambia un poco el estilo de sus predecesores.

Not as good as the previous Green River and Cosmo's Factory but still a good album with great songs.

John Fogerty doesn't write bad songs as his style is deeply rooted on traditional americana. The foundation is always solidly strong and grounded as an oak.

After all the great music they put out in such a short time the wheels were bound to come off at some point. This is a far dropoff from their previous work. It probably would have been best for them to take some time of instead of making this one.

A pretty unique entry in the CCR catalog. Very keyboard heavy and heavily influenced by the Mowtown sound. not my favourite CCR album by a longshot, but definitely different.
