The definition of uneven! The first five songs of this album are superb. The riffs are pretty, the pad is eerie. His voice sounds like it's been pounded by a lifetime of alcoholism, and it works so well. Then, the last five songs aren't up to par, at least according to the enormous standards set by the first half.
