Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 7% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.7/100, a mean average of 74.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.1.

Runs a little too long but collects itself in time to stick the landing
Gritty, funny, funky, and memorable all rolled into one toxic brew. A hazy crazy mashup of funk soul comedy and hip hop creating a masterpiece of the genre and my personal favorite Wu album. A truly classic from the cover art through the songs it contains.
Maybe I should listen to this again but apart form the classics of shimmy shimmy and Brooklyn zoo, I've never found it that great.
Disappointed by lack of hype in these comments. One of the best Wu albums.
"My beats are slammin' from the rugged programmin'!"
i was way more entertained than I thought I would be. 3rd favorite wu tang solo album
'Let me go, I'm a role model'...
A schizophrenic character study from the mind of one of the most depraved, unintelligible, insane rappers to ever live. It's alternately shocking, heartfelt, and banging. Probably my favorite feature of the album (no small feat) is the use of repetition of entire phrases, even choruses of previous songs. If you thought Kanye was the first rapper crazy or stupid enough to sample himself, you were wrong. It was that Ol' Dirty Bastard, the hobo junkie king of rap.
This album is vastly underrated on this site. It's not even in the top 100 of the year it was released. I haven't looked at the entire 1995 chart, but surely this one deserves a spot.
Excellent album. Standouts are "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" and "Brooklyn Zoo", but it's very good all the way.
