Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 59.5/100, a mean average of 57.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 57.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 23.2.

best phostumous album

This is actually a pretty strong album! Definitely his best posthumous stuff yet.
Original MJs versions are amazing. All remixes except "Love Never Felt So Good" and "Slave To The Rhythm" are total crap.
i don't think anyone should promote grave robbery like this, it honestly feels like a crime.
Man, that first track is so R&B funky-hot it could fit on "Off the Wall". The rest, well, feels like a hodgepodge of good Jacko ("chicago") to songs that didn't make a previous album for a reason ("slave to the rhythm"). LA Reid curated "Xscape" so it feels fairly cohesive and what were once demos feel fairly fleshed-out, it's just that this album kind of feels like a cash grab (probably the first of many in a 2pac style release-a-year-cash-grab) which makes it less-enjoyable than it could be... (But DAMN that 1st track is HOT!)
This album luckily had his original untarnished tracks released when some of the remixes had the songs destroyed if we didn't hear the originals too. A Place With No Name is the standout for me. Well done to the demos being amazing :) I rate the deluxe a 8.5/10 but the standard I give a 5.5/10.
