Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. yeah! it's the pogues! irish punk folk - awesome. glorious music for beer drinking. but it's the same as for rockabilly: that's live music. listening to it at home on a record is less than half the fun...

A strong debut, although a bit too uneven to receive the really high scores. Streams of Whiskey is magnificent, and there is another handful of really strong tracks. The Auld Triangle and Kitty should have been excluded for a better total experience.
