Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Strange Way is a big hit from this middle of the road soft rock 70s band. Some how these guys managed to put one major hit together on each of their albums but couldn't string a few together. Maybe if they just would have released one album over this period of time it would have been considered a classic
