Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 23% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.9/100, a mean average of 72.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.4.

"In the Dark", "The Stroke", "My Kinda Lover", "Lonely Is the Night"... This record is full of early 80's FM rock radio staples. Good stuff.
Great consistent album for anyone who like simple rock'n'roll
The most unlikely platinum seller nobody has heard of
This album and the follow up sold by the truck load making Mr Squire a very rich man and a 2 hit wonder
Solid album with good rocking tunes. Imbedded into my youth it is part of the soundtrack. In the Dark and Lonely is the Night are my favs.
Only consisting of a few memorable songs like "The Stroke", "Here in the Dark" and "Lonely is the Night", this is a completely forgettable album.
My sister had this casette when it came out and I listened to it quite a bit. As an 11 year old it was pretty rocking to me. "My Kinda Lover" still does it for me.

Vintage rock n roll at its finest. Squire had a few hits after this one, but this album remains his magnum opus.
