An absolute masterpiece

Stays the right side of corny... a good honest, but simple album of great "sentimental" tunes done earnestly. Just a few basic instruments, and a dash of brass here and there, mean it is open, warm, and relies solely on the strength of the songwriting and strong tunes...which it does with ease.
Understated... but great.
