Up there with Band of Gypsys and Made in Japan for one of the most respected live albums. Duane left us too early but his work will never be forgotten thanks to beautiful albums like this.

Live albums are often of poor quality of both content and technology. Sometimes there are exceptions. "At Fillmore East" is a real top in its field. It captures amazing moments of a great live band's ability to to play audience. Album, the songs are stretched into long, but are by no means monotonous. Listen even if the "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed," you can hear how the men of the South make playing guitar a sheer emotion
