As a spotty teenager learning to play the drums this was a must have album. 35 years on I still play this once in a while. It's a bit over the top but it's an enjoyable listen, I prefer the more subtle tracks and as I have got older realise how boring drum solos can be. Theme One (mistake on track list above) is a great opener. Cozy Powell got some great musicians around him to produce this album. Was he on the same level as John Bonham, Neil Peart, Carl Palmer? Not really, more top of the second division in the rock drummers world but by hell, he tore the kit apart when I saw him on tour with Whitesnake!
