Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.7/100, a mean average of 71.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.1.

Rush goes back to an earlier heavier less keyboard influenced sound, reminiscent of Counterparts. Although I saw the band on this tour which was superb, this album doesn't tick certain boxes for me. I prefer Rush at their most progressive, not at their most heavy.
That's more freakin' like it. Straight up Rush album. The instrumentals are superb and the production is spot on.
The best of Rush's late period, save for the final effort on Clockwork Angels. Two great instrumentals included and Alex lays out some very nice acoustic work.
This is my favorite Rush album in the past 15-20 years. Really enjoy most of the songs. MEZ
It's the definition of an average Rush album, which means it's an above average release overall. I think there are just a few too many songs here. Take out "The Way the Wind Blows", "Faithless, "Good News First", and -maybe- "Spindrift" and we'd be looking at a lean and mean album here.
The instrumentals and "Workin' Them Angels" are probably the highlights here. I love "Armor and Sword" too, but it's sliding further and further down on my list because it's kind of a samey one-trick pony.
Great album, alot of good songs here. My favorites is: "Armor And Sword", "Hope", "The Way The Wind Blows" and "Good News First".
Disappointing by Rush standards. Still some good songs on here.
