Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 53.2/100, a mean average of 50.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 50.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 27.9.

There are some great songs on here, but you have to search for them. Masterpieces are hidden between very awful tracks. Nicki, seriously how can you let such a fantastic song as “The Night is Still Young” be preceded by “Anaconda”? And no, I don’t dislike “Anaconda” because she shakes her fake ass and raps about big dicks; I dislike it because the beat is a straight rip-off of “Baby Got Back” - it’s not sampling anymore if you sample someone’s beat and use it as your beat without altering it - and the hook is a sample of that same song. It’s just a lazy song tbh.
I guess I’m saying: there’s a genius EP hidden here.
Drake’s verse on “Only” is fucking hilarious, in a good way. I love how his raps can be funny without getting ridiculous... like a certain Sir Mix-a-Lot.
In my opinion, The Pinkprint has earned to be the best album Nicki Minaj has ever recorded. Nicki shows us herself in a sensitive way, in songs like "All Things Go","Grand Piano" or "Bed of Lies", but she also shows us the queen of rap we all know and love, in songs like "Only", "Anaconda" or "Feeling Myself" ft. Beyoncé, and she gives us the dance dosis we all need, in songs like "The Night Is Still Young", "Trini Dem Girls" or "Get On Your Knees" ft. Ariana Grande. A very complete album.

She is showing so much growth as an artist on this album. She is almost at that point where I feel everyone will give her the respect she deserves. Almost there.
It's actually pretty decent.
