pretty incredible. easy on the ears. bossa nova
Arguably Sinatra's best album of the sixties(along with, strangers in the night, in my opinion), this collobaration with Antonio Carlos Jobim is a beautiful late night jazz record with a sprinkling of samba. It's a delightful recording featuring excellent versions of, change partners, I concentrate on you, and the timeless, the girl from ipanema. This is a perfect three o'clock in the morning album.
Very smooth collaboration. Combining Frank's incomparable voice with a Latin flavored guitar arrangement was a stroke of genius. One of Sinatra's finest recordings.
The best voice of all time singing like never, Claus Ogerman´s delicate and inspired arrangements and a first line Tom Jobim and American Standards repertoire, all in a sofisticated Bossa Nova style. Everything here is perfect.
