Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.2/100, a mean average of 78.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.7.

A fantastic live album that is very easy to just rock out too and have a great time. This is mainly due to the guitar playing which is out of this world and completely steals the show. It is a 1hour 16 minute lesson in how phenomenal the guitar can sound and this makes it a must listen just for that alone. The rest of the performances on the album are also pretty good and I am a big fan of the drum work. The vocal is amazing and has that British edge to it which makes it unique and very relatable to me. The consistency is very good as well and it is so easy to just put this record on and let it play and you will never really zone out from the music. The sound quality is also amazing considering it is live and that usually dulls the recording down a little. Overall, an album I always thoroughly enjoy and needs to be listened to just for the guitar masterclass that is put on display.
One of the greatest live albums...EVER. Takes first couple of songs before they comfortably kick into top gear but after that, the ultimate hard rock performance to the end. UFO are undeniably the most under rated band of there genre which is criminal. A true masterpiece
One of my favorite live albums of all time! Michael Schenker rocks!
Still the best live album ever.
I don't get as much from this album as I do from 'Making Contact'. The opener isn't great imo and Phil Mogg sounds like he's had a skin full when he tries to 'fill in' while the mic's are being changed apparently. I agree with other people's comments re Michael Schenker, he makes the album. Compared with some of the modern metal bands who rose at the same time, I don't think it has aged well. I do like Doctor Doctor, Lights Out, Too Hot to Handle and Rock Bottom, in fact the second half of the album is much stronger imo.
Probably the best live album, Michael Schenker is not of this world.
May be the greatest live album ever.
This band (and particularly guitarist Michael Schenker) are criminally underrated in the US. This is the place to start as Schenker puts on a one man guitar clinic with epic live versions of all their best songs up to that point.
God this sounds dated! It should bear a Warning Label that reads: "best before 1991".
Ok. Maybe if it was a hot summer evening, and I was drinking too many Bud Lights with some rural rednecks at a campsite, and we were just getting all loaded, this would be fun to rock out & get stupid to.
Great guitar playing though!!!

Best live album I have ever heard by a distance. My first experience of UFO and was stunned by its brilliance.
