Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.3/100, a mean average of 76.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.2.

Fantastic record, easily Bob's second best imo. Real Situation, Zion Train, Could You Be Loved, Forever Loving Jah and Redemption Song (my favorite Marley track ever) are the highlights. The rest of the tracks are really solid too.

Stuningly beatiful in almost every way. Especially the tracks "Could you be Loved" and "Redemption Song", what a powerful set of songs, such an good bye from an legend.

I love a bit of reggae and Bob Marley is the master. Redemption Song is a beautiful acoustic statement about slavery and terrifically delivered by Bob.
Coming In Cold is the album opener and Could You Be Loved are also clear highlights on the album. No bad tracks here.

Sadly, this would be their final album. But at least they went out on top: this is one of their finest moments on record.

As with a lot of Bob Marley records, the songs from the, legend, compilation are always the strongest. As goes, could you be loved, and, redemption song, are by far the best tracks on the album. The rest is fine, competent, but nothing is as special as those two marvelous tracks.
