I didn't really know what to expect when I saw the album cover, but this album is actually really good.

Their first successful album and although a bit uneven also one of their better ones which is especially proven by Laughing Stock and of my all-time favorites Summer Here Kids on which Jason Lytle goes totally loose.
another excellent serving by Grandaddy - just catching their mellow sound - love his voice and delivery along with tunes and look forward to catching more of their back catalogue.

I was really surprised to find out that The Sophtware Slump was everyone's favorite. This is by far the better album in my opinion, showcases the best of Grandaddy's songwriting

I wish I discovered this album before its 20th anniversary so it would be a more special moment for me. Prime example of how lo-fi music can be equally as beautiful as hi-fi music.
