The front half is incredible. About as strong as the best parts of Demon Days or Gorillaz, but it kind of drops off after track eight. Not a bad album, but that edge is sort of lost. This is still a really great album, but something is missing, unfortunately.

I just listened to this again recently and I can't figure out why I didn't like it at first. Maybe I was just looking for Demon Days 2.

The Best Gorillaz album. Some real thought was put into this one opposed to their other releases.

A step back from Demon Days. I applaud Gorillaz for stretching themselves - some tracks, they hit a homerun. On others, it sounds a tad bizarre. This album is growing on me... I may change my mind.

A grower for sure, I honestly prefer it to Demon Days, which I might be alone with that. On Melancholy Hill is the climax of the album. Perfect track.

A horrible, horrible follow up to Demon Days. Apparently I'm the only one who thinks so?

I got this album when it came out and I was a bit disappointed with it, it had its gems like Stylo, Superfast Jellyfish and Melancholy Hill but nothing else really grabbed me, compared to their previous albums where there was a great mix of rock and hip hop this just felt like more of a hip hop album and not an especially good one.
