Well Green Day were awesome when they first came out with Dookie. They were a cool punk band that you could listen to without getting yelled at by you're parents. But then they stopped being so punk and got a lot more full of themselves. I really respect them for still being around and for not letting this modern music industry swallow them up, but yeah there not very good (or as good) as they were before.

Okey, here I go. Green Day is my favorite fuckin ever band, but I'm really don't care about the haters. Green Day is great! In the start, in the gay part (AI~TRE)... I know there is a lot of great bands better than Green Day, but Green Day is my favorite band ever!
I did not like when they started and still do not like it now.

HappymealThey had one extremely good album(Dookie), the rest sucked.
I think "American Idiot" sounds EXACTLY the same as "Dookie" and "Nimrod" which is why they suck balls.
A tremendously creative band that isn't afraid to change. I keep seeing comments like "Dookie is better than American Idiot", well, OK...the point is that it's not THE SAME. Too many bands just re-hash the same old act - these guys push that envelope while retaining their identities. Love 'em!
junodog4These guys were a glorious mess when the first came out... Then they started taking themselves way too seriously. Dookie is WAY better than American Idiot, and it's been downhill since Billie adopted the scenester look. But they were great at first.
