Blows any other singer songwriter effort of its or any other decade out of the water. Stevens has a knack for both poetic storytelling and composing. Simply wonderful.
Puncture Repair 09/23/2012 20:06Such poetry, powerful storytelling, amazing melodies. He might not be a technically great singer, but that soft tone he puts out works so well. His earlier work has quite strong Christian themes, and whilst not religious myself, I enjoy that sense of spirituality made in his lyrics.
Brilliant artist! One of the greatest artists of the last 10 years. So many great albums so far and rumor has it that he has been working on his follow up to The Age of Adz. As I always am with Sufjan's work, I'm once again really excited to see what happens next!
So far every new album i've liked more than his last... can't wait for another!!
