Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 67.1/100, a mean average of 66.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 66.3/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 23.4.

One of those rare bands that actually got roughly better on each record (with one outlier) starting off with very simple and fun pop punk tunes that progressively got more experimental and artistic as time went on.
ALBUMS WORST TO BEST
California: The emotion is just gone here, Blink isn't Blink without Tom
Cheshire Cat: very rough raw album, while still catchy they really had nowhere to go but up
Dude Ranch: The first album where you really see what Blink is all about
Take Off You Pants and Jacket: very close in quality to Enema with tons of iconic tracks but Enema gets the edge with consistancy
Enema of the State: Some consider this thier magnum opus, and if you're into straight up pop punk I'd say this is the one to go to, tons of energy and catchy riffs
Neighborhoods: It really feels like an younger brother to their self titled, the tone is very similar between the two
Self Titled: MASTAPEICE! Catchy tunes, thoughtful lyrics, and some real emotion not previously seen on a blink recor outside of Stay Together for the Kids and Adam's Song
Far more enjoyment listening to DeLonge’s ‘expose’ of Advanced Aviation Threats on the Rogan podcast. His music is far less imaginative
They are the band that got me into music in middle school, they still not perfect but I can still listen to their albums 8 years later and be able to enjoy them. One of the few bands that still hold up from middleschool. Good punk-pop band overall and very energetic.
Love them at all! Fucking energetic...I grew up with their songs. They're part of my life.
They do what they aim to do really well. Or at least they did on a couple of albums, such as Enema of the State and their self-titled.
They're mediocre. They had some fun pop-punk songs, led the 90s punk scene along with Green Day, and inspired a lot of later bands, but the lyrics are shite and the music basically sounds the same for every song.
Either way, I don't care what you say, Adam's Song is a fucking beautiful song.
Meh..........
Go on, I've give them a chance, they did make some ok songs such as 'all the small things' and 'I miss you'.
Were never particularly great musicians, but used their talents to the fullest. Always knew how to make fun, non-pretentious tunes that can be enjoyed by the masses.

Very influential on Pop Punk.
